Gina Johnson - Senior Sales Rep

Gina earned her bachelor's from Stanford and her MBA from San Diego State. She was a senior sales manager at Xerox for two decades before joining UP. She loves to garden and teach foreign language, and lives with her husband in Encinitas, California.

Kate is an environmental studies student at Utah State University. In her free time she enjoys climbing, cross-country skiing, and reading, and she's thrilled to help students master these challenging subjects.

Sydney holds a biochemistry degree from San Diego State University and is originally from Kansas. She's involved in inorganic chemistry research, led the College of Sciences Student Success Center, and enjoys working out and crocheting.

Kyle McCoy - Content Specialist

Kyle is a Mechanical Engineering major with a minor in Energy Studies. Originally from El Dorado Hills, CA, he enrolled at SDSU to pursue his dream of designing and developing renewable energy technology.

Jenna Mulligan - Content Specialist

Jenna studies chemical physics at San Diego State University and hopes to run her own research one day. A San Diego local, she tutors math and science and enjoys taking her dogs to the beach.

Vincent Chang - Content Specialist

Vincent is a Mechanical Engineering major at SDSU, a first-generation American and first-generation college student. His hobbies include outdoor pursuits like hiking and rock climbing.

Marissa DeVinny - Content Specialist

Marissa is a Physics major at SDSU hoping to pursue a career in astrophysics. Her dream is to work for NASA and promote more women in physics. Outside school she enjoys baking and reading.

Christian Quiroz - Content Specialist

Born in San Diego and raised in Imperial Beach, CA, Christian is a Physics undergraduate at SDSU. He plans to pursue a PhD in physics right after finishing his undergraduate studies.

Jhovanna Garcia - Content Specialist

Jhovanna is passionate about communicating ideas in creative, tangible ways and believes the arts belong in STEM — making it STEAM. She's pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Dance.

Zackary Hollingworth - Content Specialist

Zackary studies Electrical Engineering and Japanese at SDSU. He planned to study abroad in Japan and to pursue a master's in Electrical Engineering there.

Derek Smith - Content Specialist

Derek graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in Physics and a minor in Ancient Greek, and now lives in Montana. He works as a software developer and enjoys board and miniature gaming.

Eva Anderson - Video Editing Supervisor

Eva is a Cognitive Science major at UC Davis, intending to pursue neuroscience research and a career in academia — following in her dad's footsteps. In her free time she teaches dance, bakes, and plays piano.
